Meet James Ferreira from Las Vegas, Nevada. James started flying out of Henderson, just south of Las Vegas in 2004. He then went on to earn his CFI/CFII and MEI in Fort Peirce Florida. That is also the same location where he got his initial flight instructor experience.

James admits that going from student to instructor was a big step. Most of us look back fondly at our first CFI who first taught us how to fly. His favorite comment from his former students is "you showed me how to fly."

James just renewed his Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate with Aviation Seminars and currently instructs as a free-lance CFI at Cactus Aviation in Henderson, Nevada. Just another reason we have chosen to recognize James Ferreira for our "In The Right Seat" spotlight!
